Responsible for all aspects of housekeeping for Outdoor World, The Wildlife Gallery and Wonders of Wildlife. Manage the daily audits for delivery of service, coach housekeeping staff, and create work orders for repair requirements observed by housekeeping staff.
Ensures that Housekeeping tasks lists, housekeeping contractor obligations, and day to day requests are completed in a timely manner for 3 shifts of cleaning responsibilities.
Promote teamwork / team building with Bass Pro / Wonders of Wildlife staff and external housekeeping vendors.
Inspect buildings multiple times daily for deficiencies and follow up with housekeeping contractor to complete tasks or correct deficiencies.
Consult with contracted housekeeping supervisor on a daily frequency to ensure supply inventory of paper products and restroom supplies are adequately maintained.
Coordinate floor refinishing and carpet cleaning with cleaners and management staff so that merchandise and/or displays and artifacts can be moved to provide timely refinish service.
Ensure appearance standards are upheld in regards to cleaning standards and Grand Opening Look Daily (GOLD Standards) and create work orders to ensure the maintenance team follow-through.
Partner with housekeeping contractor to obtain estimates/proposals for extra services as needed.
Meets with other department managers daily to evaluate effectiveness of cleaning contractor and react to improvements as needed. To include the Retail and Wonders of Wildlife Property Superintendent, Store Management Team, and Food Service / Restaurant Managers.
Evaluate and approve weekly service tickets for accuracy and add comments as needed for deficiencies.
Schedules use of Arial lift rental for high dusting needs and effective use of rented lifts time on property.
Coordinate special event housekeeping needs.

Must be able to use independent judgment in interpreting direction/guidelines, work with respect, follow all safety and Risk Management guidelines and be customer service oriented at all times.
Complete service requests in support of store operations and resource conservation programs.
Must be 21 years of age.
Requires a Class E driver’s license and qualify to drive company vehicles.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to and including 50 pounds.
Ladder and aerial lift use required.
Strong computer skills are a must.

Holiday, vacation coverage and overtime work required as needed
